Terms of Service

Draft. These terms are a plain-language summary and will be replaced by the full legal terms before launch.

Accounts

You need an account with a verified email to buy, bid, or make offers. Seller accounts are reviewed by our staff before a store can be opened, and staff may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Protected payments (escrow)

When you pay by card, Furmissions holds the money. The seller is paid when you approve the delivered work, or automatically 48 hours after final delivery if you haven’t opened a dispute. Opening a dispute pauses the payout until our staff review the order.

External payments

Some sellers accept payment outside Furmissions. Those payments are unmonitored and unprotected: we can’t hold, track, or refund them, and those orders aren’t eligible for dispute resolution.

Auctions

Bids are binding. A bid in the final minutes extends the auction so everyone has a fair chance. Store owners and their team can’t bid on their own auctions.

Adoptables

Buying an adoptable transfers ownership of the character to you. The original designer is always recorded, and their resale and trade terms apply to every future owner.

Content

Sellers must mark adult content as NSFW and add spoiler or content warnings where needed. Work-in-progress images are watermarked until the order is complete. Don’t reuse art you haven’t paid for.
